Relentless - Passionate - Energetic

Kill The Silence are a powerhouse post-hardcore band hailing from Leeds, UK. Formed in 2012 at Leeds College of Music by frontman Jason Walsh and lead guitarist Sam Rickerby, the band was born from a shared love of melodic intensity and emotional honesty, drawing inspiration from the likes of Lower Than Atlantis, Deaf Havana, and Mallory Knox.

After solidifying their line-up in 2018 with Ian Souch on bass and John Wallis on drums, Kill The Silence burst onto the scene with their debut EP Bloodlines. The release featured standout singles; You Should Know, The Design and All We Are. Their rising reputation led to support slots with We Came As Romans, Mallory Knox, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, among others.

Between 2020 and 2023, the band continued to evolve, releasing a string of dynamic singles including Inevitable, Sinner and Lost At Sea, while welcoming rhythm guitarist Daniel Ridding into the fold.

After a period of writing and refining their sound, Kill The Silence returned with renewed focus and ambition. Their comeback single Hide & Seek quickly became their most successful release to date, smashing previous streaming records with over 10,000 streams in just four weeks. The track received airplay on Johnny Doom’s Kerrang! Radio show, while BBC Introducing praised it as “quite epic,” firmly signalling the band’s return in emphatic fashion.

Riding this momentum, Kill The Silence have announced their highly anticipated new EP Resolve, due for release this April. With a bold new chapter underway and more music on the horizon, Kill The Silence are back and larger than ever.
